The trade magazine Fluides & Transmissions features Kinell, the new umbrella brand from FÉTIS Group replacing Dintec. The article clearly defines the scope: three priority markets mobility, marine, and energy and a positioning designed to cover the entire electrification value chain. It also highlights the Group’s international footprint, with nearly 680 employees across 9 countries and around €150 million in revenue.

The piece details Kinell’s ecosystem built around three pillars: Generate for energy production (from renewables or a hydrogen generator), Store for energy storage (batteries, chargers, H₂ tanks), and Power for electrified power transmission spanning off-road machinery and professional marine applications. This approach is presented as a continuation of the Group’s strategic roadmap focused on the energy transition and decarbonization.

On the application side, land mobility currently represents the largest share of activity, while marine mobility is gaining momentum. In twshat context, the power levels required at sea often make hydrogen more suitable than batteries alone. For off-road equipment, the emphasis is on autonomy and robotics.

Finally, the magazine explains how Kinell supports OEMs: predominantly first-fit programs, retrofit assessed case by case based on real-world use, and integration engineering covering sizing, architecture choices, and operational data capture to calibrate each system precisely. It also mentions a technology demonstration platform and the opening of a production site in Canada, signalling a step-up in operational capacity.
